i own about a $1k worth of socks. most of those come from sock dreams. Mulberry Tote Bags i've been disappointed in 4 or 5 pairs total. i told them about my disappointment twice and they gave me credit to order another pair. they're totally awesome and their socks are worth the price. if you post which socks you're looking at on sock dreams i can tell you if i've personally worn them and what i think about them.
my socks that don't come from sock dreams are all pretty much socks from target. they're a good cheaper option. although, finding them not striped might be a problem from there.
Tabio toe socks are wonderful, with rubberized grips to prevent slipping. I don't see any 100% black socks but the stripe is extremely subtle and they have solid charcoal grey.

Came to suggest sock dreams. I looove their toe socks, especially since they have knee highs and longer. Careful, they're the doritos of socks: you can't buy just once.

Thanks; Sock Dreams it is then. (I've been looking particularly Mulberry Shoulder Bags at the ToeToe brand, like these knee-highs.)

I have a pair of smartwool toe socks. I highly recommend trying them on Mulberry Outlet UK first, because if you have short toes like I do, the toes may be a bit long. I bought a medium sock, and kind of wish now I'd bought the small size. I still like and wear them because they DO fit except for that goofy pinky toe which looks too big for my tiny-toed feet.
